Course Introduction

Awaiting Body: OCN London
Level: QCF Level 3

Media is not just entertainment. It shapes our culture, the way we interact, the way we see the world and the lives that we live. EThames Access to HE Media and Culture Studies will teach you how to create, critically examine and challenge various forms of 21st Century media. You can expect to explore a range of media including social media, film, advertising, newspapers and magazines.

An Access to Higher Education course is intended to help those without level 3 qualifications can entry to a Higher Education course within the related field. Students who complete Access to HE (Media & Cultural Studies) may progress on to a related course at a number of UK universities.

*We are currently not recruiting students for Access to HE programmes starting this September. However all applications will be considered for similar courses in 2017.
