Quality Assurance Agency (QAA)

We have undergone a review by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) and have received its final report, which is available in full at: www.qaa.ac.uk/reviews-and-reports/provider?UKPRN=10008229.

We have received the following judgments from QAA:

The maintenance of the academic standards of awards meets UK expectations.

The quality of student learning opportunities at the provider meets UK expectations.

The quality of the information about learning opportunities meets UK expectations.

The enhancement of student learning opportunities meets UK expectations.

The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) is an independent body appointed by the government to be responsible for safeguarding standards and improving the quality of UK higher education.

Note on the QAA Review process.

The QAA publishes the UK Quality Code for Higher Education which sets out the Expectations that all providers of UK higher education are required to meet. EThames uses the Quality Code to design policies for maintaining academic standards and quality.

EThames Graduate School was first reviewed under the REO system in April 2012, and is monitored annually by the QAA.

EThames Graduate School received a commendable outcome from the monitoring visit by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) in 2014 and submitted an annual return in January 2015 that demonstrates that we continue to maintain academic standards and enhance the quality of student learning opportunities and information about learning opportunities.

All review reports and annual updates are available on the QAA website.

More information, including published reports following EThames’ REO review and annual monitoring updates are available on the QAA's website, www.qaa.ac.uk
